Sand Filter

Sand Filters are one of the most popular ways to filter water. There is a good reason for this, as they require little attention and can last multiple seasons. The average sand filter only needs to be changed every three to four years. It works by rooting the pool water through the silica sand, which overtime causes dirt and debris to build up. This causes the filters pressure to rise, which will require you to backwash the dirt out of the filter by turning the port onto backwash for a few minutes. This is a simple procedure that we demonstrate at the job site.
